Lessons at Social Dances

Each social dance is preceeded by a lesson  from a volunteer instructor.  At 5th Saturday dances, we hire a professional instructor for a more advanced lesson.

Very Beginner Ballroom Sessions (VBB)

Each VBB session includes three lessons, one each week, held on Friday evenings, from 7:30pm-8:30pm at Walkersville Town Hall.   We cover the six basic ballroom dances in the course of a year, plus some extras.  The basic dances: waltz, rhumba, foxtrot, tango, cha cha and swing.  The cost is $15/person for a three-week series.  Students are welcome to stay and practice afterward.  Please see our schedule below ...

The Very Beginner Ballroom Lessons are taught by amateur dancers who volunteer their time.  To register for the classes email Chapter6054@FrederickBallroomDanceClub.org.  Class size is limited to 50 people.

Open Practice is available on Friday evenings when VBB lessons are running from 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. at $5 per person. For practice on unscheduled Friday nights please contact us.
