The Frederick Ballroom Dance Club holds social dances on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Saturdays of each month at Walkersville Town Hall.  There is a lesson before each dance by a volunteer instructor, plus snacks and beverages.  On the Fifth Saturdays, we dress up a bit more and go all out to throw a party with decorations and an intermediate level lesson from a professional instructor, followed by social dancing for the rest of the evening.

All levels, singles and couples are welcome. Hardwood dance floor.  Leather- or suede-soled shoes are best for dancing; sneakers, rubber soles and flip-flops can be difficult.  See our resources links for shops.

  6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.  - Set Up (Volunteers Welcome)
  7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  - Dance Lesson
  8:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. - Social Ballroom Dancing
10:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. - Hall Clean-up (Volunteers Welcome)

The price is $10 per person for nonmembers, and $7.50 per person for USA Dance members. Students (18 or older) with I.D. are welcome, and pay $7.50 per person
